I have taken the time to make my opinion heard by writing to Governor Herbert. Most recently, i cited the Jan 2008 Audit Report that indicated at that time Mr. Inglish's salary was $266k and in that same report, it was brought out that both the upper tier of manager's wages and bonus structure was excessive. That was then, this is now and the last report, John Inglish's salary has jumped abouit 90k to a whopping $348k per year and this all being done while revenues, Federal Funding and ridership has been declining.
I have received positive feedback from the Governor's office in reporting this and asking for State intervention in both resolving the problem with our upper management and also with the contract impass and lawsuits at taxpayers expense. I would encourage all who log into this website, your friends, neighbors and anyone else who cares about where our company is headed to also call or write to express your displeasure of how things are being handled and a request for Governor Herbert to step in and help get this straightened out. Our voices are being heard and we can make a difference.
I am very disappointed in the union administration at this difficult time. I find out about what is going on from the news paper instead of having any update from the ATU administrative staff. I look on the web site and there is no mention of the layoffs. No reply about the lawsuit mentioned in the paper. There is no information being disseminated to the work force. I understand that there is a lot going on but it is difficult being a member and even a steward when I like so many of my coworkers feel like we are left out of the information loop. If you can’t talk about something concerning legal issues, I would understand, it would still be nice to be told that you are working on the situation and cannot talk about it. If you can talk please do. It costs nothing but time to inform your members of the actions you are taking. Once a month meetings in the evening are not enough when everything is changing so quickly. Please remember to keep us informed of what you are working on and how. By keeping us informed you may have more people interested in being union members and staying in the union.
The current pay scale shows a 1% increase from the end of the last contract. The current agreement shows a 2% increase. When does the additional 1% come in? No mention of this timeing in the current contract. Just says 2%.
I have been having reauglr facial treatments (ultradermie) here for several years and I wouldnt be without them! An hour of pampering with dim lights and gentle music is sheer bliss, and the results are certainly noticeable even as I approach my 60th year, my complexion is the best it's ever been and receives reauglr compliments. The convenience of parking right outside is an added bonus and, when time permits, the peaceful walk along the canal takes only 20 minutes.
You are an excellent wrietr even if I have thought your writing seems sad sometimes! I am so glad you are honest! The truth will set you free, is true! I love you and I am so blessed to be your Mom!
